CO2-neutral production for our future and planet!

We practice what we preach and have managed to reduce our CO2 emissions by as much as 96%.

Thanks to active sustainability efforts in our business processes, we as an organization comfortably meet the Paris Climate Agreement's standards. Our efforts reflect our sense of responsibility; the effects of global warming are visible and already impacting the future of the next generations. We aim to set a good example and distinguish CF Plastic Profiles positively in the market. We also strive to inspire other companies and institutions to take similar steps.

CF Plastic Profiles, in collaboration with the Climate Action Alliance, has mapped our CO2 footprint. It revealed that we produced a considerable amount of CO2, primarily from using "gray power." As a result, we decided to switch to "green power," which is entirely generated in the Netherlands from solar, wind, and water.

This switch to green power has enabled us to lower our CO2 footprint by as much as 96%. This means that every full-time equivalent (FTE) at CF Plastic Profiles now emits 809.96 kg of CO2, compared to 22,091.84 kg per FTE previously. Additionally, the number of mature trees required to grow for a year to absorb our total CO2 emissions in their biomass has decreased by 191,537 trees. To absorb our current total emissions, we now only need 7,289 trees instead of 198,826 trees.

This significant and sustainable development is something we are eager to continue to ensure a safe and livable future for the coming generations.
