Applications of LED profiles
LED profiles primarily serve as seals and housings for LED lighting. CF Plastic Profiles manufactures plastic LED profiles from polycarbonate granules and PMMA. Polycarbonate and PMMA are known for their high impact resistance and offer a wide range of diffusion and clarity, making them highly suitable for use with LED lighting. Polycarbonate, in particular, is resistant to weather conditions such as heat, cold, and UV radiation, which is why LED profiles are commonly used outdoors
Polycarbonate
Polycarbonate is a highly suitable alternative to materials such as aluminum or glass for sealing applications. It is 250 times stronger and more impact-resistant than glass, making it virtually unbreakable. Additionally, it is fire-resistant, providing a very safe solution for applications like LED profile panels in office settings.
LED Profile production
The process begins with the production of a mold, which we custom-make and manage entirely in-house. This mold forms the basis for extruding polycarbonate granules into the LED profile. With our own tool-making shop and 38 extrusion lines, we can manufacture your custom mold in as little as 5 weeks. Any necessary post-processing is also handled in-house, as well as maintaining stock of the plastic profiles.
